TF-2 Fixer
Alkaline fixer for use with PMK and other staining film developers.
Recipe
| Chemical | Amount |
|---|---|
| Water (40 °C) | 700 ml |
| Sodium thiosulphate (crystaline) | 250 g |
| OR Sodium thiosulphate (anhydrous) | 120 g |
| Sodium sulfite | 15 g |
| Sodium metaborate (Kodalk) | 10 g |
| Water to make | 1000 ml |
Mix chemicals in the listed order.
Usage
Use as working strength solution. Fix film for two times the clearing time. Fix paper for 2 minutes.
Comments
Keeps for one month. Not recommended for T-grain films, use TF-3 Fixer for those.
